Congratulations to Frederike Sass for receiving the 2025 EAS Young Investigator Award in Basic Science and the MSCA Fellowship!

Frederike Sass, Ph.D., received the 2025 EAS Young Investigator Award in Basic Science for her work on NK2R Control of Energy Expenditure and Feeding to Treat Metabolic Diseases. The EAS Young Investigator Awards celebrate outstanding early-career researchers for their exceptional contributions to atherosclerosis and related metabolic disorders. The winners will present their papers during the EAS Congress 2025 in Glasgow on May 6.

Dr. Sass has also been awarded the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) global postdoctoral fellowship.
